Step 1 System UpdatesOut of the box, your TouchPad comes with the WebOS 3.0, HP has tried it best effort to fix the lagging problem in the System Update 3.0.2 build 68. It offers improvements in the Calendar, Email, Music, Photos & Videos, Text Assist, Web Browser, webOS System, and Security.
Since the System Updates takes more than 30 minutes, system will warn you if you don't have at least 50% of the battery power before the process.
1. Choose the Launcher button
2. Choose the "SETTINGS" tab and "System Updates"
3. Just wait ... This will take a little while.
4. Choose "Download Now"
5. Just wait... Unpacking...
6. Just wait... Depending on your WiFi speed, after a good 12 minutes, it starts "Validating" the downloaded updates.
7. After another 2 minutes, choose "Install now". This will take about 15 minutes.
8. After another 15 minutes and the system reboot. Now, the OS has been updated to the latest.
9. You can check out from the "Device Info" under the "SYSTEM" tab and verify 3.0.2.68 is installed successfully
